Tender v0.15.4 Alpha
© 2026
Tender is currently in Alpha (v0.15.4). We are a work in progress. Please expect occasional technical inconsistencies. Our scoring algorithm and facility data are subject to continuous evolution as we refine our mission to bring radical transparency to the industry.
Every industrial meat product carries an oval "Health Mark." This is the facility’s unique fingerprint. To use Tender, you must scan the ID code for Slaughter.
Note: We do not currently index cutting plants or storage facilities, as these sites do not execute the welfare practices we audit and score.
The Tender Score (0–100) is a weighted calculation of facility throughput, automation level, stunning technology, transport reach, and resting policies.
High (70+): Alignment with modern welfare and quality standards.
Moderate (40-69): Standard industrial practices with room for empathy-led improvement.
Concern ( < 40): Significant reliance on high-stress industrial methodologies.
Tender is built on the firm belief that religious slaughter performed without stunning constitutes cruelty to animals. While we do not discriminate against any faith, and do not single out facilities purely for religious reasons, we are unwavering in our stance that stunning is a requirement for a high welfare score. Halal and Kosher facilities are marked strictly to maintain this transparency.
Tender utilizes publicly available data collated via a proprietary algorithm. We take no legal responsibility for the absolute accuracy of these scores. Our goal is to display complex data in a way that prioritises empathy.
We invite community contribution. If you believe a facility is missing or data is incorrect, use the Report button or email audit@tenderapp.uk with supporting documentation.
